Romeo & Juliet tells a story of young love entangled in an age-old vendetta between two of the most powerful families in Verona; the Capulets and the Montegues. Upon sneaking into a Capulet feast with his friends, young Romeo becomes enraptured by Juliet and seals both of their fates with a kiss. With the help of Friar Lawrence and Juliet’s nurse, the two arrange to marry just hours before a street brawl leaves Juliet’s cousin dead and Romeo banished. Again, Friar Lawrence attempts to help the lovers be reunited after Juliet’s parents try to marry her to the County Paris. His plan to fake Juliet’s death and send a message to Romeo, goes awry and brings about the end of the love story, and the family feud.
